The title of the discussion is ” Comparative Perspective of Public Opinion Research : Indonesia & South Korea”. There are two speakers who will share about this topics and their relevant researches. First speaker is Prof. Sungkyum Cho from Chungnam National University, South Korea. Currently, he is a director of Korean Society for Journalism and Communication Studies (KSJCS). Prof. Cho also a former director of Asian Network for Public Opinion Research (ANPOR). Second speaker is Kuskridho Ambardi, Ph.D. He is the head of Communication Science Department of Universitas Gadjah Mada. He got his doctoral in political science from Ohio State University, USA.  The discussion will be organized by Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies (CESASS) and Communication Science Department of UGM, with support by AIFIS. The objective of this discussion is to compare the current development of public opinion research in both countries. This activity also aim to give shape to the possibility of cooperation between institutions.
