Indonesian Cultural Caravan 2019

The Indonesian Cultural Caravan consists of 27 of Junior and Senior High School students, parents, and teachers. Students will present Sundanese Gamelan (Salendro) pieces as well as traditional dances such as Giring-giring dance from Kalimantan, Sundanese Merak dance, and Lenggang Nyai dance from Betawi. They will also visit college campuses that students may wish to attend in the future. The group’s mission is to preserve Gamelan Performance as a world heritage by performing on the world stage.
