George Towar Ikbal Tawakkal, Professor at Universitas Brawijaya and recent AIFIS Fellow, recently worked with students and faculty at the University of Wyoming. Working with Dr. Andrew Garner and Dr. Tom Seitz at the University of Wyoming, George developed a research project about the democratic process in Indonesia, looking at vote buying and the money of politics. While visiting Wyoming he worked with students and faculty talking about issues of democracy facing Indonesia and the rest of the world.
